With roots in rural Pennsylvania, Brody refined his mechanical prowess in his father's garage before venturing into yacht refit management in Ft Lauderdale in 2009. Over a decade in the industry saw him weathering the North Atlantic during Hurricane Gonzalo and captaining his first dual season charter vessel between Puerto Rico and St Maarten for many years. After achieving his Master 500gt unlimited certification in 2019, Brody moved on to operating successful charter programs throughout the Western Mediterranean. He believes that his success comes from always leading his crew with a calm demeanor and willingness to support them – the team dynamic then shows naturally to owners and guests who come aboard. After 15 years of worldwide cruising experience and mechanical resourcefulness, guests will be assured of enjoyable cruising experiences and lasting positive vibes.


CHEF | Joelyanne (JoJo) Le Faucheur Kerjan | French
Chef Joelyanne was born and raised in the French Riviera and now resides in Costa Rica. After graduating with master’s degree in Marseilles business school, JoJo started her impressive culinary journey that includes experience in Michelin- starred restaurants, leadership as a head chef on a 50m plus charter yachts, and a distinguished role as an executive chef at a private castle in Cannes. Over the course of her career, JoJo successfully operated a catering company in St. Barths for six years. Besides her passion for cooking, JoJo loves creating cocktails, traveling and nature.

Originating from the shores of Cape Town, South Africa, Candice's journey in luxury yachting spans over 9 years. Interwoven into her extensive experience is her vibrant & positive personality. As an accomplished explorer and adventurer, she has studied holistic medicines as well as many yoga techniques abroad. Luke was born and raised in the rural countryside of Herefordshire, England, He feels fortunate enough to work for ‘The 2010 Worlds Best Tasting Spirit’ Chase Vodka. During his ten years there, Luke developed a Master level in mixology and customer service while he advanced through the company. His passion for service & flare has earned his invitation into the world of luxury yachting. Luke had the good fortune to work on a busy charter yacht in the Mediterranean before finding the stunning Motor Yacht Artemis, where his goal is to assist highlight her beauty in some of the most breathtaking places. Luke enjoys hiking, cycling, keeping fit and learning from different cultures and countries from around the world. ENGLINEER| Adam Bellstedt | South African
Adam hails from Cape Town, South Africa, and underwent a series of relocations during his childhood, residing in New Zealand, Wales (United Kingdom), London, and eventually returning to South Africa. He possesses educational background in mechatronic engineering, computer programming, and has obtained engineering certifications relevant to the yachting industry. His professional experiences include work on motor and sailing charter yachts in Spain, France, Italy, Bahamas and Turkey, encompassing roles in both deck and engineering capacities, allowing him extensive exploration of the Mediterranean in particular.
Following a hiatus, he relocated to Costa Rica to immerse himself in the country's natural beauty and pursue his passion for photography and travel. This experience prompted him to make a subsequent move to Zanzibar in Tanzania, where he indulges in the island lifestyle while furthering his abilities in computer programming. Adam finds fulfillment in the maritime environment, utilizing his engineering expertise while satisfying his desire for exploration.


Mate | Jesse Thomas | American
From the island of Martha’s Vineyard, Jesse spent most of his childhood on or near the water. After competitive dinghy sailing in both high school and college, he went on to become a high school sailing coach. After moving on from sailing frequently in his early 20s, Jesse decided to start his yachting career in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The last 6 and a half years have seen him working on several busy charter and private yachts with itineraries including Bahamas, Caribbean, Mexico, New England, and Western Mediterranean. In his free time, Jesse loves traveling, water sports, spending time outside and sitting down with a good book. His fun loving and relatable nature, along with his extensive yachting and water sports experience, will help any guests to have an amazing time onboard Artemis!

We’ll be pleased to assist you in deciding which activities suit your personality and interests the best. Your crew and captain are experts. They are familiar with the locale and the greatest things to do. They can give advice on where to go fishing, diving, or snorkeling. They are aware of the locations of the remotest beaches. They can give advice on the top boutiques, eateries, or nightclubs.

We’ll provide you a food choice survey to fill out so we can figure out what kinds of meals you and your visitors would like to eat while you’re away. Along with your preferences, the form will ask about any dietary requirements, medical restrictions, or food allergies that any members of your party may have. Prior to your departure, you will also get the chance to ask any questions of a crew member. The team will next make your favorite cocktails and fresh, gourmet meals for the rest of the voyage.

Running costs are not included in the rates given for motor yacht charters and must be paid separately. Catamarans for sailing must be all-inclusive. The costs are determined by the number of people and cover all meals, drinks (including the typical ship’s bar), fuel, ice, and aquatic activities. Taxes, dockage fees, and communication expenses must all be paid individually.

Food, alcohol, fuel, dockage, port fees, and any other costs associated with the charter are considered running costs.
Typically, the operating costs represent 35% of the base charter fee. A 35% Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) will be paid in advance of your departure, giving the crew time to stock the yacht. A detailed breakdown of all costs will be provided to you at the conclusion of the charter. If there is still a balance, you will get a refund; however, if expenses are higher than the APA, you will have to pay the outstanding balance before disembarking.

Florida’s tax ranges from 6-7%, depending on the port of embarkation, while the Bahamian tax is 14%. The charter cost also includes tax.

What to anticipate if you have to cancel your vacation is covered in your charter agreement. To protect yourself in the event that unavoidable circumstances force you to cancel your trip, we advise buying cancellation insurance.

The captain’s first priority, however, is the security of his crew and the boat. He has the last say on anything that could affect the safety of passengers.

Yes. Although not required, leaving a tip is encouraged, especially if your yacht rental experience left you feeling especially satisfied. At the completion of your charter, you should give the captain a 15% gratuity.

Once you’ve decided on a yacht, we’ll place an “option” on it, securing it for 48 hours while you finish the paperwork. Then, a yacht charter agreement must be read and signed. We are happy to answer any queries you may have and thoroughly explain the terms. You must send your completed contract together with a deposit for the charter.

50% of the charter cost is required as a down payment; however, if there are less than 30 days to departure, the whole amount is due. The deposit is made via bank wire transfer and is kept in an escrow account by the principal agent of the yacht until just before the charter date. You have secured the yacht once we get your signed contract and down payment.

We’ll start collaborating with you to customize your charter. Your food and exercise preference survey will be delivered to you. We’ll set up a phone call for you and the crew. We will assist you in planning all charter-related details, including transportation in a limousine and flights.

If you are renting a motor boat, the APA funds and the remaining balance of the charter are due 30 days before the start of your trip.
